The Woman behind Sandy Disher Art
I am Sandy Disher! As a little girl I was always interested in Art. I really thought that I might seek a fine arts degree but was persuaded to take a more secure profession like nursing. My nursing career spanned 50 years.
During that time, I married and had a beautiful child. I built a Geodesic Dome for my house and raised ducks, geese and chickens. I absolutely fell in love with country living and started to paint in my spare time.
Unfortunately I went through a divorce and as in most cases, it took a long time to recover.
I retired from nursing and am finally free to paint and express myself through art!

I want to bring happiness and beauty into this world through art! My art will give my viewers a sense of peace and tranquility with a chance to take a breath and get lost in the colours of each painting. A chance to be yourself.
My art is created using oils or acrylic paints, egg tempera and mixed media. Recently, fluid art has been added to my portfolio.
Currently, I am only accepting purchases by E-Money Transfer (EMT). Shipping and handling are not included. Contact me for more information.
